D. Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy)

Diploma in Pharmacy is a 2-year full-time Diploma course divided into 4 semesters. D.Pharmacy has been designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other related pharmaceutical fields.

D.Pharm means Diploma in Pharmacy. In India, students can study this education course after successfully completing Standard Twelve in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and either Biology as subjects. The person who has completed D.Pharm can be employed as pharmacist in shops selling medicine (Pharmacy).

Diploma in Pharmacy program is a Diploma certificate course. It is well known by the short names of D Pharm and D Pharma . Diploma in Pharmacy is the minimum qualification required to practice or work as a pharmacist in India.
